Bio

Tara Hempstead is a comedy scriptwriter, visual artist, and violinist based in Los Angeles. Zines are the latest extension of her existential humor. Her zines are usually hand-illustrated tales of her experiences and latest discoveries. Other themes in her work include nostalgia, vintage/retro elements, mental health, and intense passions for things that are usually deemed "casual interests" like cheese, antiques, and getting her hair to curl just right.

Visiting My Old Neighborhood, $15.00 - On a recent solo trip to NYC, I roam the streets of my old Brooklyn neighborhood on a surreal yet comforting walk.
